Simple Charm

                                                    Happy Weekend!

                                              Just some simple charm today.
                                           From my kitchen windowsill

Thank you to all of you who left kind words yesterday on our "labor of love".

I am joining Bernideen's Teatime Blog for Open House.

Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage did a lovely spread on her visit to our garden last week if you would like to check it out. As some of you may know Sandi and I go way back as we used to play house together as little girls.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Carolyn

I love to see the Queen Ann's Lace blooming along the road. I tried to get it to grow on my property by collecting seeds and tossing them about, but it never grew. Perhaps we accidently cut down the new plants! Beautiful photos.

Hi Carolyn,
I'm loving your pictures, lovely. Especially the water bubbles in the glass vases. I think it is time to empty the sea glass from mine and add water and flower. Hope your weekend is wonderful

So beautiful! You've captured these flowers beautifully! The Queen Anne's Lace is so pretty! It's blooming everywhere here right now. The soft colors in the hydrangeas and ranunculus are lovely!

Groups of single stems from the garden are sometimes more interesting IMO. Beautiful post as always.

First, every one of those photos would make a beautiful card.

Second - I knew you and Sandi were friends but I had no idea you played together as young girls! Oh my word, that is the neatest thing EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved her spread on her visit to your lovely home.

I will be in your area on Sept 24 and 25th. Hope to be able to meet you in person - when there's a will there's a way!

What a pretty display your wild flowers make on your window sill! Love those blue bottles.
And thank you so much for your lovely mention in your post today.

Hubby and I just got home from a visit to Moncton over the weekend. It's nice to go over and catch up with everyone but it's nice to be back home again too!
We got a lot of rain over there. I hope the Island did as well!

Blessings,
Sandi

I just found your blog and became a follower. Your gardens are inspiring. If you can care for this much property, surely I can get my own little flower beds in order! My admiration is boundless.
