Hello everyone.
It was another beautiful sunny day here so I grabbed my camera(Canon Rebel) and took some pictures in the lovely golden light in our bedroom.
I am going to let you quietly tip toe through the room!
We put two old doors from the Restore in behind the bed until we find another use for them.
If I confused you with this corner it is because while taking the pics I realized that it might look better to put the chaise in the other corner and the chair here as it didn't block the fireplace.
Tea anyone?
Help yourself to some of the cookies left over from the house tour on Sat. -compliments of my daughter Jennifer.
Thank you for all the lovely comments you have left for me- I love to hear from you and I am sorry that I haven't had time to get back to you all. I will try to do better this week. Welcome also to my new followers.
Goodnight!
Carolyn
Your bedroom is beautiful, Carolyn! You've got to wake up in a good mood in that room every morning! Love the chair and how you've got the room laid out, too. Your pictures are wonderful!

So I have to tell you Carolyn, my older daughter came into the room as I was looking at your pictures and thought your bedroom was very pretty! This is the girl with the tattoo running up her arm (arrggghhh), and you never know what color her hair is going to be next. Right now it's black and pink. Maybe there is hope for her yet ; )
ReplyDeleteWish it were my room!
Your pictures are so pretty. You made me cry though. When I saw those curtains with the balls they reminded me of my Mom and a story that she would tell people when I was little about her curtains. A funny one. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteEverytime I open your blog I wonder if you are real or one of my dream!
ReplyDeleteDiana
A dreamland wonderland Carolyn, beautiful! Can't wait to see the virtual tour, one room at a time:)

What beautiful golden lighting and decorating. I used to have curtains like your balled fringe ones years ago. Wish I had them now. I did find two valences at a resale shop that I put in my farm cottage kitchen.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
