Happy Pink Saturday!
Today I have some soft and sweet pinks to share with you. This year I have some lovely pink hydrangeas blooming in the garden so I picked some for a bouquet.
I bought a new to me pink tea cup to add to my growing collection .It is so pretty I couldn't resist it.
My double rose impatient blossom.
My soft and sweet post was also short and sweet today! SmileA couple of nights ago my daughter and I went to the movie The Help and we both enjoyed it very much. The theatre was packed with people of all ages-mainly women though.Emily and I both read the book awhile ago and thought we would like to see the movie when it came out. I thought the acting was excellent and I enjoyed the story as well. I don't go to movies very often but this is one I would recommend.
It is Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound so lots of pinks to enjoy!
Enjoy your weekend,
Carolyn

Soft and sweet indeed! Your teacup is a beauty and I love hydrangeas. I am visiting from Beverly's Pink Saturday. I saw the movie The Help last Sunday for my birthday and I loved it! Academy Award nominees for several of the actresses, I am sure. xo

Hi, Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteGuess what;
Yesterday Our friend Madelief invited some blogfriends for a high-tea at her lovely garden!
She surprised us with a beautiful table with lots of vintage china and homemade cakes and scones...
You should have been there too!
She told me about your blogfriendship..

Darling Carolyn this hidrangea is the essence of tenderness: I like the pink shade and its shape (here I find only H.with too big petal).
ReplyDeleteI had my holidays and I came back home, but the heat is too much. The tour of your glorios garden is what I need for a fresh breath.
Thank you for share all this beauty, as always
Silvia
Yes, Carolyn! I would agree with 'The Rose Garden in Malevik' that you are THE BEST! As you know, I have to get my daily dose of your beautiful blog, my friend. SMILE.
ReplyDeleteI was tickled to see the 'Vintage Grapes' sign peeping out from behind the vase of pinks. I have always been so in love with pink anything!
And, where did you find the pink floral teacup?! It seems as though I may have spied a very similar teacup somewhere during my treasure hunting on P.E.I. ... Would it have been at The Tole House, or Riverside Antiques, or maybe at The Coach House in Victoria-By-The-Sea? I remember seeing a similar dainty and meant to pick it up to add to my bounty of treasure, but alas, with so much to see about, my head was on a swivel and I had forgotten about it! I only remembered it when I had gotten back to my Island...LOL Sigh.
Hubs and I just returned from a beautiful night at The Bread and Cheese Inn and dinner with 15 of the 'Pink Days' volunteers. What a lovely way to spend an evening...
I hope your day and that of all your loyal readers is gorgeous!
Hugs to you,
Linda
Such lovely soft pink hydrangeas. The bird plant stand is awesome and just the perfect place for the white pitcher and pink hydrangeas. As always all your photos, your china, the vignettes are so lovely. Blessings,
ReplyDeleteLynn
