The Beauty of Winter!

 Good Morning!
It is probably no surprise to those of you who visit here often that I love snow-well at least for a few months. So when we went for our walk yesterday I was happy to see instead of rain we were getting some big white fluffy flakes. It didn't take long to get several cm. so I was happy to get my camera......

and take a stroll around the garden.
and then a little drive to capture some of the beauty.
I think snowmen are so cute- good job we don't have any close neighbours or I would have to wait for the little ones to come over to make one!

Back to our garden.

You gotta love those big fluffy snow flakes and the magic they perform!

Thank you for visiting me,

Carolyn

  1. Carolyn, I think the lamp post with deep red ribbon and snow is so pretty! So glad you shared some pics of your snow.

Hope we get some fluffy snow in January.

It's cold, but no snow. Always a great time for Tea.

  14. What absolutely beautiful pictures!!! You could almost convince me to love snow too :) The only day we've had a pretty snow like that I was sick in bed all day, so I haven't been able to go out and get any pretty pictures and now it's all gone. You've inspired me to look for the lovely in snow instead of dreading it. Thanks.

  24. Dearest Carolyn,

Indeed, that are SNOW images! You got lucky for having enough centimeters of the white fluff.
In The Netherlands they had, but not here in the south... Who knows?

  25. Hi Carolyn
You finally got your winter wonderland and it's beautiful!
Big fluffy flakes dancing in the air surely are a wonder of nature.
Our grass is showing through now after a few mild days but we'll likely get much more snow before spring.
