Hello everyone,
I am running a little behind these days but I wanted to share a couple of things with you today.
The first is this beautiful bouquet that was half price at the grocery store- a little overstocked for Valentine's day .
Isn't it beautiful?
and this photo arrived in the mail this afternoon. It is a photo that my good friend Heather took of me last summer on an afternoon at the beach.
The photo is printed on canvas and it is about 16 by 20 inches. We were really pleased with the quality and the speedy delivery too. It was ordered from Photo -Canvas.
If you would like to see more photos taken that lovely beach day click here.
I am joining in with Cindy again at My Romantic Home and there is lots for you to enjoy there!
We have finished stripping all 21 double rolls of wallpaper so now the fun stuff can begin-if that is what you call painting etc.
I hope you all enjoy a joyful weekend.
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn
The photo is gorgeous, Carolyn!

My favorite color for flowers and that picture makes me long for spring. Here in Utah we're lucky if springs here by the end of May. Sigh... That seems so long!
ReplyDeleteWow! This photo should be a painting. I think you were so clever to have it printed on canvas.
ReplyDeleteEverything about your site looks dreamy and romantic. I love my visits to Aiken House & Gardens.
The picture looks beautiful on canvas!

Ah Carolyn a sight for tired eyes seeing your lovely header and post.
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous rendering. Looks like it could be set back in the fifties with the ambiance of it.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
The bouquet of flowers are just gorgeous. How great to get those on sale. I love the canvas of you, too.
ReplyDeleteI do envy that you always have flowers around you. Flowers, especially roses, are so expensive in Singapore (easily USD2-3 per stock for nice looking ones). The photo too is lovely. It is so consistent with the mood and style that I have come to associate with you and your blog.
ReplyDeleteIt's my first time visiting your blog. And what a lovely blog it is ;)
ReplyDeleteThat photo of you truly does look like it's from a magazine. I grew up near the coast and it reminds me of when I was a young and my mom would take us down to the beach wearing her sunhat, lugging a tote of magazines and goodies and she'd read and peak up to watch us play in the waves with our dad. Thanks for bringing back a fond memory ;)
Blessings,
Molly

ReplyDeleteJust thought I'd tell you, I've had a lovely Sunday morning here before church. I've been sipping my coffee and enjoying your "show & tell" post as well as looking back through your blog. Your music just adds to the ambiance and the "pretty" feeling of your pics. Thank you so much!
