Antique China

Just a few photos today of some lovely old china that I found last summer at the Reid House antiques .

The cups and saucers also came from there but they are a different pattern but go very well together.

They must have used a lot of sugar in their tea back then or had a lot of friends in for tea as this is a very big sugar bowl!

That is my collection so far but you never know what will turn up this year. Today, I found a fixer upper project at the thrift shop I will share when it is done. Tomorrow is my husband's birthday and we are having our children and grandchildren for dinner so I won't be posting tomorrow .

Enjoy your weekend,

Carolyn

  28. Very lovely blue and white china - so soft and pretty.

Love your seasonal mosaics too Carolyn. Maybe you and I should get paid by the PEI tourism :) not that I'm looking for it mind you. But we are blessed to live on such a beautiful Island.
