A Garden Vignette

Hello everyone,
I have been a bit scarce lately as there is so much going on right now. Hopefully,I will soon have lots to share for you gardener's anyway as the garden starts to fill in more and the lilacs etc. begin to bloom. We got some much needed rain the last couple of days so we took a trip to some garden centers to have a look at some new plants. I found this cute little boot at Cool Breeze in Summerside and had to take it home with me.
I planted it up and put it in our sun room for now.
It is a great spot to enjoy getting some new ideas from my garden books.
A cup of tea makes it even more enjoyable.

Take a break , sit and enjoy for a spell too!

I am joining Bernideens Tea Time Blog for Tea in the Garden and also French Country Cottage for Feathered Nest Friday.

Thank you for visiting,

Carolyn

Carolyn: That was so pretty. Darling little boot, and I love that geranium. I used to grow them all the time when we lived by the ocean. They are so pretty and I really like the scent of them..Happy Mother's Day..Judy

There's always plenty to do in a garden at this time of the year:) I only wish it would stop raining long enough for me to get out there! I've managed a couple of hours on two days this week and that's it. Today looks nice and sunny but my younger son and his family are coming up for the weekend so I have to prepare for that - shopping, baking etc. Maybe next week....

Goodmorning Carolyn,
I can understand the allure of a burgeoning garden - the pictures you share give us just a glimpse - a quote I read from a fellow blogger made me think of you - 'when I sleep I dream of the life I'm living'
Bliss!
I wish you a blessed Mother's Day

Such a great find Carolyn. It looks lovely with your beautiful chintzware.

It must be a delight working in the garden again. In Holland it's still cold for the time of year and wet. We are hoping to get some sunshine soon.

Wish you a happy weekend!

The little boot must have had your name on it - where could it have found a better home?
