Garden Beauty

Good morning,
We have had such beautiful weather here lately but we do need a good rain as the garden is dry and the farmers crops as well. It is cloudy and showers are expected later-we shall see.
I made a few collages of some photos I took in our garden so you can see some of what is blooming.

I love these colors together.
The bridal wreath spireas and the apple trees have started to bloom.
Apple blossoms and magnolia Anne.

And look who came to visit-little Lila. Lila picked up my hats that were on the bench in the porch and started modeling and as luck would have it my camera was right there so I captured the moment very quickly as Lila does not like getting her picture taken.

I hope you all have a lovely day!

Carolyn

Your collages, gardens and sweet Lila are truly beautiful, Carolyn.

Hope you get the needed rain. We were *supposed* to get some yesterday but it passed us and we're dry too.

Last year it rained every day for 6straight weeks and broke every record and caused ALL SORTS of problems, now we can't get a drop.

At least with dry one can help one's one garden by watering - there is nothing much to be done when it is saturated and things are washing away or moulding or just plain drowning.

It's impossible to get it "just right," it would seem.

Prayers for it to get just right!!

Lila is such a sweet little girl, she could definitely pass for a flower. Children are like flowers in a garden...

Hope you get some rain, wish I could send some over to you, they are forcasting a lot of days of rain for us. Hope they are wrong, more rain only means the blackflies and misketoes will be hungry. Arghh!

Have a great day!
Blessings,
Koren

Dear Carolyn,

Such a joy to visit your blog again and see your garden in bloom! It looks very pretty! Love the Spirea and your spring bulbs.

Lila looks very sweet too. How much she has grown! You must be a proud grandmother!

Wish you a lovely day. From a warm and sunny Holland,

I love your photographs and your flowers. If you ever have a garden tour open to the general public, let me know as I would love to visit it. I was on a Christmas house tour last year and visited your lovely home which was beautifully decorated for the holidays and I know your gardens would be spectacular, too!

Hi Barbara,
Thank you for your kind words. I think we will be doing a tour for MD again probably in July and I will definitely post on my blog beforehand.
Take care,
Carolyn

Lovely pictures of Lila - she obviously has inherited her grandmother's natural elegance. The pink magnolia is just beautiful, such a gorgeous colour.
