Seeing Red

Hello everyone,
It is time to welcome February-the month of romance!
These shots are just a little tribute to Valentine's Day.
This was my treat of the week today.
It was pretty much calorie free since I was going to eat the biscuit anyway and raspberries are fruit and I need to have a few servings a day of fruit to maintain good health so just a little whipped cream with a tablespoon of sugar or two-makes for a pretty good low calorie dessert wouldn't you say??? Ha!Ha!
It was good!
I am still seeing red!

I couldn't share red without showing my dishes again-could I?

Thank you for seeing my reds.

Take care,
Carolyn

What fun to "see red" at Aiken House & Gardens. Each one of these images is a delight, but that treat for the week is fabulous. ~ Sarah

Beautiful photos. There's just something about bright red and white that I'm loving this year. Love the Valentine's red photos, Carolyn!

Beautiful photos, I love the little heart, I think I can cross-stitch the little heart that I see in the first photo. I hope you don't mind if I do, I will link my post back to you if I blog about it. And let you know, okay?
I love, love, love red transferware. Your collection is perfectly gorgeous!!!

Your red and white transferware is just beautiful, Carolyn! I love seeing all the pieces. That dessert looks soooo good! I love to cut up strawberries, toss with a little sugar and refrigerate overnight, then I add a little whip cream to that and it tastes so good, and it is at least half healthy! Or so I've convinced myself! : )

Oh I just love your blog. I really like the little stand you have for your cups and saucers. Too Cute.

My heart is beating a mile a minute in honor of your beautiful red post! I love your red transferware collection and your photos are wonderful. I have never seen cups in the shape of yours in the lovely cup and saucer stand. Absolutely charming!
By the way, your raspberry treat looks luscious. Interestingly enough, I can convince myself that a chocolate cupcake is low in calories...it all depends on my daily outlook! Thank you for sharing your wonderful and beautiful red post.
