A Romantic Tea

Hello everyone,
Welcome to my romantic afternoon tea. I gathered up some pretty pinks for our afternoon tea because pink is such a romantic color and we are getting close to Valentines's Day.
Layers of pink.
A pink handbag with the daintiest sheer gloves and scarf. I love cameo pins too.

The palest pink teacup.
Some of you may remember the heart shaped plate and matching teapot that my husband surprised me with one Valentine's Day a few years ago. Like I always say - he is a keeper! Heart shaped sugar cookies sprinkled with pink sugar.

This pretty teacup was a gift from a friend- I love it too!

So dainty!
My yardsale dishes- love them too!

The quilt on the table was a gift from my daughter.

The matching teapot for the heart shaped plate.

A mini cinderella dress

Well, you do look pretty in pink and thank you for joining my romantic tea. If you come back tomorrow I have some romantic creamy whites for you. It was another snowy day here and I spent some time playing with my camera.

It is Tea Time Tuesday at Rose Chintz Cottage so go and check out other lovely tea parties . Thank you Sandi for hosting.
I am also joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday. Thank you Susan for hosting this lovely party.
Take care,
Carolyn

Oh, this is beautiful. I was really delighting myself in all that beautiful pink with accents of white and red. Oh, that pink glass with the sugar and spoon is gorgeous. Is that pink Depression glass by any chance? that would match the pink Depressino glass plates that I have in my cupboard ;) Oh, and that lovely sheer scarf is beautiful with that delicate lacy pattern. I think sheers like that are just absolutely gorgeous!!! Oh, lovely. Thank you for letting me stop by for tea today!!! Everything is absolutely divine. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

This is SO pretty. I remember the little clutch purses and sheer or just plain white cotton gloves I wore as a teenager to church. And the little pink dress is adorable. What prettiness! Pamela

Hi Carolyn,
I love your pretty pink tea! I am in love with that teapot and heart plate! Your hubby sure knows how to pick them! The little gloves and clutch purse are adorable and so is the Cinderella dress!
I almost grabbed some white roses last night but decided to wait just in case someone wants to get me some. *wink*
Your tea is truly a romantic one and I think we all agree on that! Thank you for sharing and for coming by.
The snow is indeed beautiful but my poor hubby had to walk through it all day so he's not lovin it so much. We both will be happy when it's gone!

Blessings,
Sandi

I love the color pink, it is my favorite and thoroughly enjoyed your post. You have inspired me to wear pink tomorrow to a Valentine's luncheon. I am the special guest of my garden circle for this luncheon. I wasn't sure what I would wear until I read your post soooooooooo pink it is.

Carolyn, you have to already know how much I love this party. It is pink perfection.

And, that pillow behind the purse is gorgeous. It almost perfectly matches a pattern in my guest room.

I adore cameos, too. I have three, and I'm always tempted to add a few more.
