Christmas Mosaics

Hello everyone,
I hope you enjoyed a lovely weekend. We had a little birthday party for my Mom on Friday, and Andrew and I went to a Christmas Carol concert in the evening.  On Saturday I enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch at a local restaurant with my girls  and our daughter and family came for lunch on Sunday so the weekend zipped by! We are still have very mild weather (for Canada), it is 10 degrees Celsuis so needless to say not a speck of snow. I hope we get some soon as it does not look like Christmas here without snow.

I have made a few mosaics from little Christmas touches around our home.
The picture above is a Trisha Romance card that I framed. I love her work!
The mosaic above is from last year.

I am still doing little Christmas touches around the house- I know I am slow this year! We are getting our tree tomorrow so it will go up on Wednesday hopefully.

I am joining in with Cielo at The House in the Roses for Show off your Cottage Monday and also joining Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday .

Thank you for visiting me,

Carolyn

Your mosaics/photos are just beautiful. Are you finished decorating yet? I suppose there is always some "tweaking" to do. Have a good week!

Dearest Carolyn,

You seem to have had a lovely weekend with all your loved ones. That's what this season is all about; memories. We celebrate one 2,000 year old memory and others we create by having special things with loved ones that turn into cherished memories over time.
Enjoy your Christmas decorating and there is no rush; this is all about PEACE.

Lots of love,

Mariette's Back to Basics

Dearest Carolyn,
Your mosaics are so pretty. I would love to send the snow storm that is coming on Wed. with 5 to 10 cm. of snow your way. Do you usually have snow for Christmas and does it last through Feb or March? Vancouver gets bits of snow most years that only lasts for a couple of days at most. That is why I love living in Winnipeg, I love the Winters here.
Hugs, Cindy

Hi Podso,
No, I am not done decorating yet but soon!

Hi Cindy,
It is usually much colder here then it is this Dec.(+10 C for part couple of days) and usually we have snow by now that stays until late March or so-strange!
Thank you all for your kind words.

Carolyn

Your weekend sounds lovely. And, Christmas in your home is like a magical land.

I hope you get the snow you are dreaming of in time for Christmas. It is very cold here. Of course, we don't have the same cold weather you do.

Carolyn, your pictures and decorating are always so lovely. I really enjoy 'touring' your home this way. You mentioned the weather. It was 15 here yesterday with all that rain and the southerly wind it felt like spring. However, there are a lot of flooded roads and basements as a result of over 100 mm. of rain in some areas! I do hope we have a white Christmas too! Blessings!
