Breakfast in the Terrace

Hello everyone,

In the summer we eat almost all of our meals outdoors and one of my favorite spots is in the garden terrace.

A few days ago I took some photos of our pancake breakfast to share with you.

I didn't spend a lot of time on this so it is a plain and simple meal but the setting makes it special to us.

I made raisin scones and raspberry muffins.

Crushed Island strawberries and fresh whipped cream on top of pancakes is oh so good.

Fruit salad and plain yogurt topped with phyllsum is healty and good.

While we sit and enjoy breakfast it is lovely to enjoy the surrounding beauty. This rose is Antique.

An Endless Summer Hydrangea is in a large pot in the terrace.

The Prairie Princess rose climbs on one side.

Well, I hope you enjoyed our breakfast in the terrace. I am joining Susan at Tablescape Thursday today our at her lovely blog Between Naps on the Porch. Lots of lovely tablescapes to see today!

Thank you for visiting me,

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,
Such a lovey setting, who wouldn't want to go outside and enjoy a yummy breakfast. What time did you say breakfast was being served? insert big SMILE and a WINK...
Your garden bed is so pretty and enchanting. You do know how to enjoy the beauty that sounds you.
Big hugs and have a sweet day, Elizabeth

Carolyn, your pancake breakfast looks wonderful! Yum! So nice that you can eat your meals outdoors. It is so windy here where we live that it's not safe to eat outdoors. I can hardly keep a geranium on the deck table without it blowing over. I think it must be one of the windiest spots on the Island! Yout blooms are lovely as always! Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Blessings,
Sandi

Hi Carolyn - I have just found your beautiful site and loved your breakfast on the terrace - so pretty - I love flowers and especially roses so this site is a dream. I live at the other end of the globe to you - way down the bottom end of Australia.

Hi Carolyn :) What a delightful breakfast, and how delicious everything looks! Love having the juice in a crystal stemmed glass instead of a traditional juice glass, gives it a touch of elegance :) Once again I have enjoyed my visit with you!

Warmest hugs, Brenda

Finding your blog has made me so intrigued by Prince Edward Island... I've even started to look at accommodations! Have you heard of the Barachois Inn, and if so, does it have a good reputation? ♥

What a wonderful setting and delicious breakfast! Somehow the humidity and bugs always send us back inside... Your setting looks too idealistic for either of those problems!

Wow, incredible and delicious in every detail, Carolyn. It's perfect, nothing more I can say! Except that I wish you lived next door to me. :)

What a beautiful setting! You are one very lucky lady to live there. How is the weather in the winter? I just love the plush greenery.

Now you see, you say you didn't spend a lot of time preparing this breakfast but it would have taken me AGES. And it would have had to be for a special occassion.
Apart from hot chocolate on a winter beach, I'm not a lover of eating outside because of the wasps, but your breakfast would really tempt me.
Have a lovely weekend. xx

I'll come for breakfast! I love how you always add the flower pictures --your true love, I believe! And the bed set in the garden: seems like the perfect spot for a relaxing, peaceful nap! Have a good weekend!
