Garden Teas

Good Morning,

Although it is raining here on Prince Edward Island this morning I am reflecting on some of my garden teas from last summer- maybe you would like to join me.

These are some of my photos from last summer. Sit for a spell and listen to the song of the birds.

Our little granddaughter Jessie enjoying a tea party
.

or maybe you would like to sit out on the balcony off our bedroom and enjoy a bird's eye view of the garden.

I apologize again that my computer still has a problem letting me send my photos through blogger so they are in two batches again. I also discovered that several folders of photos I took are missing-yikes! I am hoping my son can solve the problem when he gets a chance.

Carolyn,
I enjoy reading your blog so much and love your beautiful photos!
I think I may know why you can only upload 4 photos at a time -- if you are using Picasa it will only let you upload 4. I found that out myself. I find it a stupid limitation. If I have more than 4 photos, I just do the entry thru Blogger.
Hope that helps you!

Hi Cari,
Thank you so much for your kind words and help in posting.
I usually email my pictures over to my blog but for some reason it always comes back failed every time now.Is that what you meant by thru blogger-as you can see I am not very computer literate!
Thanks again,
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,

Your pictures are AMAZING! I live in Ontario, but my mom's family resides in Summerside. I spent every summer there from 18 months old to 18 years. Now that I have a family, I find it harder to get out there, but when I do, I completely drool over the gorgeous older homes there! Thank you for posting about he island. I miss it sooo very much!

Carolyn,
How romantic and charming your photos are.
It is a pleasure to have tea or coffee in the garden. We are lucky women to have this privilege, aren't we ?

Hi Carolyn,

You garden is exactly how I would love my garden to be. It is so pretty. You must feel very happy when you sit in your garden in summer and look around you! With Paul's Himalayan Musk you have a lovely rose. I planted it the first year we had our garden and it is already four meters up the tree. It has beautiful soft pink blooms which smell heavenly!

I hope your computer trouble will be over soon!

Have a lovely day! Lieve groet, Madelief

I always love your beautiful photos. If you download the free program Live Writer you can use all the photos you wish. It is so much easier to use than the blogger template...set up your post, push a button and it uploads directly to your blog!!! I'm a real fan of this program, I would have probably given up blogging had I not found it.

Oh, what a delight it is to visit Aiken House and Gardens. I wish I had found you before we visited Prince Edward Island in 2009. I would have definitely stopped by for tea in your garden. :-)
