Happy Weekend!
I hope you are enjoying your
weekend .
I have been adding some Christmas
touches to the smallest bedroom in
our home.
This bedroom previously had green
and white toile wallpaper on it so
after spending a couple of' fun' days
stripping it all off, we painted
it cloud white by Benjamin Moore.
So, it was quite a change and I
admit it took me awhile to
get used to it.
The red and white toile quilt is warm
and cosy and adds to a Christmas
look.
I have had this teddy bear for
a number of years and he
is hard to part with.
This little nook has a window
seat tucked into with room
for storage inside it.
A thrift shop find several years
ago with just a touch
of Christmas.
I changed the dresser in here
to this family heirloom. I did
give it a couple of coats of paint
to update it. I love the mirror from
from Homesense.
It is a dark showery day today
so I used my flash for the photos.
An early Christmas card for you!
If you would like to see the room before
check it out here
Thank you for visiting me and
please stay well.
Carolyn

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet refreshed bedroom. I bet your grand girls adore that little room just for them. ♥ Love your touches of Christmas in there- esp that St. Nick on your heirloom dresser.
Stay well, too, Carolyn.
It's getting a lot worse around here - staying home and out of harm's way is the only thing that has ever made sense to us here.
But whew do I miss going out to lunch and dinner and library and thrift shopping!!!!!!! I had begun painting classes that I was really loving, and may miss that most of all, even more than hosting tea parties.
Hi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI love your little guest room for the grandchildren. I love the red and white color scheme for the children also. The teddy bears are priceless. They are so cuddly. I am sure with your big house it takes a while to decorate it for the festive Christmas season. I love seeing your beautiful home all dressed up for the holidays.
Fondly,
Betty
What an adorable room! Your granddaughters must love staying there.
ReplyDeleteYour page is always a delight to visit. Merry Christmas. xx
ReplyDeleteVery sweet and all set for Christmas 🎄!
ReplyDeleteIt's a sweet and cozy room, Carolyn. I had a bedroom similar to this when I was a little girl. Have a wonderful holiday season!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful indeed
ReplyDeleteI love the curtains !
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little bedroom! I love it.. and love the all white with red touches here and there, and the little tree is so sweet. If I was little again and went to visit my grandma, I would absolutely love this room to sleep in! The quilt is so pretty too... I love red toile (or any color really). Such a pretty card too!
