Transferware Lunch in the September Garden

Hello everyone!

   I hope your weekend is going well.

    Although we still have lovely days in

       September there is signs of approaching

       autumn so it is nice to enjoy these sunny

       but cooler days in the garden as much as

possible.

So, I thought I would share one of my

favorite tablescapes from a couple

of years ago in our September garden.

                                                                    I have always loved variations of the
                                                                    Cabbage Rose pattern and have collected
                                                                   bits and pieces over the years.

                                                         My friend Snow and I had fun setting
                                                         the table out under the old apple trees
                                                         in our garden where it was nice and
                                                         shady on a perfect September day.

                                                                  We layered the table with linens and lace.

                                                           A bouquet of flowers from our garden
                                                           and my red and white transferware were
                                                           used.

                                                                   We had a great harvest of cherry tomatoes.

                                               It was a beautiful day to enjoy a
                                                          late summer lunch in the garden.
