Hello everyone,
I hope you are enjoying your weekend.
We had a lovely one here but there is a blizzard
warning for us tomorrow so we shall what it
has in store for us.
Yesterday, I stopped at the thrift store to drop
off some donations but had to check and see
what little treasures they might have before
leaving. I spotted this little tea cup and tray
that happen to match my teapot nicely so
it came home with me.
A Valentine cookie for my
tea treat today.
I picked up a fresh bouquet of
pink tulips to enjoy as well.
This was the view out one
window this cold Sunday morning.
Notice the snow moon over the cottage.
Looking out the sunroom window
is our Boathouse nestled in the snow.
Well, let's see what tomorrow holds for us with
some reports predicting up to 30 cm. of snow with
100 km. winds.....sounds like a cozy storm day to me!
Thank you for visiting!
Carolyn
What a pretty post. I love the tea-cup and tray; gorgeous. We are in Ontario and right in the middle of a blizzard. 25cm of snow expected. Stay warm, Deb
ReplyDeleteYour new teacup and tray set match that gorgeous teapot perfectly, Carolyn! WOW- what a treasure to find! Yay!
ReplyDeleteIt's the weirdest weather - never know what to expect these days. Last week I went into choir practice with no coat on, and came out to 3 inches of snow on the ground! And it didn't stop snowing all night and all the next day....and today it's all gone.
One sure way to know you are going to have bad weather is that pink sky in your morning pictures......Red sky at night, sailor's delight, red sky at morn, sailors take warn!
Stay inside sippin' and dreaming of Aiken House gardens and drool over some new garden magazines is the order of the day!
Have a wonderful week- and happy St. Valentine's Day! ♥
Such a lovely post and the teacup and tray set is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWish I was going to be there sharing a cup of tea and watching the snow pile up. Here in Kentucky we've had such a mild winter there's been only a dusting of snow.
Just want you to know how much I look forward to your posts. They always leave me feeling I've had a restful visit to your wonderful home. Bright blessings to you.
Serena
Just to let you know that to see your posts waiting when I open my email is a breath of fresh air for me ~ instant vacation from my winter doldrums. xoxo Nancy
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
