Hello everyone,
I have been looking back at some photos
that I took in our garden last summer.
We had a beautiful summer last year
and the garden flourished.
The arbor in the above shot was built
by my husband over 20 years ago.
You can see mockorange ,roses and
monkshood blooming here.
Tall delphiniums , peonies and nepeta
It was a great year for peonies....one
of my favorites.
Roses, monkshood and daisies.
Lilacs are another favorite. I love
having garden ornaments tucked
into the beds.
This is another arbor built a couple
of years ago by my husband. Love the clematis
growing up the lamp post.
This little garden is tucked away by
it's self ~ a favorite spot in spring
and early summer as it is very
sheltered.
The fence, arbor and "shed" are also
the handy work of my hardworking
husband. I stained the fence a french blue
a couple of years ago.
A shady nook to enjoy afternoon tea.
The view from the balcony in July.
Love that bouquet of peonies!
The prediction is for an early spring this
year so before we know it we will be
out there getting the garden ready for
another season.
However, in the meantime I will
enjoy the beautiful winter weather
we are having! I took this shot today
at the South Shore.
Thank you for your visit!
Carolyn
Hi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI love your garden photos. We are having a more rain this week. I'm trying to get outside to prune my roses. I just received my Afternoon Tea book I ordered. You are a fabulous photographer and stylist. I will treasure my book forever. I also have your first garden book. Hope you have a wonderful weekend..
Joyously,
Betty
