Welcome January,
Well, another year over and a
new one just begun as the song
goes.Hope it will be an exciting
new year for all of you!
We put away all our Christmas
decor today so the house usually
looks bare to me for a few days
but today was bright and sunny
so I didn't complain.
We hosted a New Years dinner at our
house and our new tradition is potluck
for New Years instead of another turkey
dinner like we used to.
There was some of my gingerbread
cake leftover for my winter white tea today.
After tea I will enjoy another peek
through Christina Strutt's Living Life
Beautifully book as I very much
enjoy it.
Although the Christmas decor is
gone I still have my little winter
white vignettes here and there to
enjoy.
My paper whites are blooming.
Winter pine cones still
decorate the windows.
One of my favorite winter
tea spots.
I am going to enjoy snuggling in with a book
and my tea for awhile now ....love cozy winter
days with a little more time to relax now
that Christmas is over.
Thank you to all who visited and left me good
wished for the new year as well.
Winter Blessings,
Carolyn
