Hello everyone,
I hope you had a great weekend.
I wanted to share a few more photos
from our visit to Old Quebec today.
There were colorful characters around
the city on the weekend.
These photos were taken not far
from Old Quebec on the Isle
d' Orleans where we went for
a drive.
Back to the streets of Old Quebec.
I love all the beautiful Christmas decorations
on many of the streets.
The Chateau Frontenac in the top photo.
Pretty shops everywhere.
While we were in Quebec City we met friends of
ours Linda and Midge from Nfld (above) and enjoyed
sharing meals or hot cocoa with them while catching up
with the news since our visit this past summer.
Window shopping
Beautiful evenings enjoying the lights.
You can tell Santa what you
want for Christmas!
We really enjoyed our time in
Old Quebec City but since we got
home it has been fun getting our
own decorating done and getting
cozy for the season.
Thanks for visiting!
Carolyn

ReplyDeleteOh thanks so much for taking the time to photograph and share this wonderful place with us.
ReplyDeleteWow Carolyn. Just about every photo would make a lovely Christmas card! Those shops are decorated so wonderfully... wish I was there too. How can a person not get in the Christmas spirit when they're there? Thank you for sharing it all with us! Marilyn

That last picture is the best Santa I have ever seen. Quebec City is definitely on my must visit list. It's easy to see why it's a UNESCO heritage site, so beautiful. Thanks for all of your Christmas-y posts. Looks like you're really getting some snow on PEI! Happy Holidays! Barbara
ReplyDeleteThat last picture is the best Santa ever! I now must put Quebec City on my need to visit list, it obviously deserves it's UNESCO heritage site status. Thanks for all of your Christmas posts. Looks like you are getting quite a bit of snow on PEI. I'm looking forward to even more wintery pictures from your beautiful world. Happy Holidays! Barbara
