Hello everyone,
The last couple of days have been
hot and humid here but there are hints
autumn here and there as I have noticed
a few leaves starting to change and before
this heat wave struck the evenings were cool.
I am not one to give up on summer early
though so my tea today has just a hint
of fall.
I picked a bouquet from the
garden with some autumn
colors.
Using chintz teacups for
our tea today.
Daliahs, hydrangeas, cosmos,
rudbeckias and phlox.
A vintage tablecloth that reminds
me of early fall colors.
Tea in the terrace.
Pretty chintz teacups.
Just in case you wanted to know.
A peek at the garden ~ still lots of
color but definitely showing signs of
decline after a dry summer and well
a hint of fall in the air.
I love all the seasons but just planning
to enjoy summer as long as I can
My sister is home from Vancouver so
we will be touring around the Island and
enjoying time together.
Thank you for your visit!
Carolyn
Dear Carolyn, it is a great joy to go with your blog through the seasons, with your beautyful photos and impressions. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI like the yellow vase and the way you stacked the cups.
SO nice to visit your blog again Carolyn! Your garden is still looking lovely! Even with the lack of rain. I've had to water my windowboxes every day. What a dry summer! But it's been great for the tourists!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely visit with your sister. I'm sure we'll see some great Island pictures from your tour!
Beautiful post Carolin. Your tea cups and flowers are beautiful. I especially love the vintage tablecloth.
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, your garden is sublime! I could spend hours seeing all of your blooms. The chintz tea cups are always lovely. Thank you for sharing your lovelies with us. Happy week to you! Toodles, Kathryn @TheDedicatedHouse
