Hello everyone,
Summer is slipping by so quickly
and before we know it we will be
digging out our warm sweaters for
those cool evenings.
So, before summer ends I thought
I would share my lace addiction.
It seems I have a closet full of lace
in various shades .
Since my closet is darker I have
displayed them in our Gardener's Cottage
for my photo shoot.
It seems I can't pass by lace.
A vintage ironing board holds
lace and linens.
When I am not in my old
gardening clothes I enjoy
wearing lace dresses,skirts
tops or scarfs.
Do any of you share my
lace clothing addiction?
weekend!
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn

A great idea for a photo! Love the way the light shines through.
ReplyDeleteYes! I'm always looking for lacy clothes. It just looks so romantic and feminine and gives you a special feeling when wearing it.
ReplyDeleteYes, I love lace and roses! Is your home a tourist attraction on Prince Edward Island?

What a beautiful display this makes! You have a wonderful collection.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful to see here, but I can admire from a distance. I think I have always been a simple jeans sort of girl. Your photos do delight me.
ReplyDeleteI love it but don't collect it and don't wear it often...but if I looked as pretty and thin as you do in your gorgeous laces, I would surely wear more often. I'd need a lace tablecloth size, and frankly wear mostly black. : - )
ReplyDeleteYou are as lovely as your collections, missy.
Oh, my! What a wonderful collection! I love lace, as well. Although I do not find too many lace clothing options in the larger sizes, I do stop and look longingly at the options in smaller sizes and drool. Thank you for sharing your lovely collection. Lace hugs ~ Donna =)
ReplyDeletePs. Love your hat, too! =)
Carolyn you have such beautiful clothes... I love all of your lace pieces...so dreamy!
ReplyDeleteLovely, Carolyn! Beauty shots.

Your posts are always enchanting and I especially love this one. The shot of the lace with the light coming through is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteOh, so beautyful!!!
ReplyDeleteMany greetings from Germany,

Your collection is beautiful! Love all the various colors of creams and white and even a little peach! I love lace.. collect a little bit in the form of pieces or doilies or small shawls.. never wear it much but should... but not so thin either so may be hard to find the larger sizes. I don't have alot of room to store it so can't go hog wild with buying.. and the few pieces I bought with the intention of cutting it up to use in my crafting, I ended up NOT cutting up as couldn't bear to ruin it! The clothing is a better way to go.. and wearing it would be wonderful.. though live in town and don't have wonderful gardens to wander through in my lacy vestiments!
ReplyDeleteI love lace, and your collection is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat scrumptious lace, Carolyn! I too adore it and I'm always drawn to it in the shops. I don't think there is anything more feminine for a lady to wear, honestly! Lovely posting.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
I love lace too but my collection is puny, especially compared to yours. Its hard to find such pretty feminine clothes here.
