Hello everyone,
One of my favorite times in the garden
is early morning especially on a misty
morn like we had a couple of days ago.
The Preston Lilacs are in full bloom
now and I love them.
In the background there is a Purple Pavement
rose and nepeta..
If you look closely you can see the pond
and the chairs on the dock.
A closer look at the mist coming off
the pond.
Maybe you would like to sit for
awhile before touring the garden.
We are working on a new project....
a pergola in the center of the Allee
Garden.
The peonies are beautiful now.
The south beds looking toward the
Allee Garden.
Peonies over the old
picket fence.
Peony in early morning
light.
The early light streaming through
the terrace.
I hope you enjoyed an early morning tour
of our garden in the mist.
Thank you for visiting!
Carolyn
I love the world in the morning. I get up very early every day and go out to the terrace to listen to voices of nature. Your garden is magical. Peonies bloom with you now? With me in Poland bloom in May. Regards
ReplyDeleteSo much gorgeousness in your garden Carolyn...loved all the shots! :)
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, zdjęcia są po prostu magiczne!!! Dziękuję za dawkę tak pięknej i pozytywnej energii z rana :) Przesyłam uściski
ReplyDeleteGorgeous gardens. And wow--I would love to have my morning cup of coffee in that chair by the pond. Of course, I might not get much done that day!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures! The mist on the lake is so calming. Your lake is especially beautiful and I can imagine myself sitting there with my cup of tea . Your pictures always make me go "ahhh".... a quiet and peaceful respite in a not so peaceful world.
ReplyDeleteYour gardens take me to a better place. Yours is a garden I had always dreamed of but, alas, I have ended up in a suburb of Dallas, Texas. A looooong story and in the 7th decade of my life, I only have a small flower garden in a tiny backyard. I look forward to your gorgeous photos as I also love photography. Thank you for starting my day in such a beautiful way.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely -- even lovelier than usual -- your gardens look in an early morning mist! And what a study in blues and lavenders your flowers are, misty colors that look even more ethereal. Thanks so much for sharing your misty morning. -Beth
ReplyDeleteLovely to visit your garden again thank you Carolyn
ReplyDeleteLoved it!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is more lush every year. Eden couldn't have been prettier! Thank you for taking the time to share your gardens and beautiful vignettes with us. You give calm and peace to my day

Beautiful...I'm yearning for springtime here again! My lilacs and iris have been out of bloom for almost two months. Nice to see your garden looking so lovely!
ReplyDeleteJust a breathtaking post, Carolyn! I can't imagine such beauty in my own backyard. Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteHello, I just feel happy and everything is right in the world from visiting your lovely slice of heaven! I want to come and sit with you at your dock and talk of things that settle our hearts!
ReplyDeleteJust lovely as usual!
Always, Roxy xo
Lovely!! I enjoyed it very much.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool and inviting place! I want to be there right now as we climb in temps to the mid-90's! I love the new pergola you are building, and he old picket fence is just perfect there. Why do I love old wood so much? I don't know. Just do. Every time I see that you have posted, I'm excited to go visit your wonderful magical fairyland. Only in my dreams will I sit and gaze out at the misty pond. Sigh.....
ReplyDeleteOh, what wonderful pictures! Are the Paeonia "Sarah Bernard"? The same is in my garden :)
ReplyDeleteBest regards from Germany
Tatjana

ReplyDeleteOh wow! How beautiful! I can imagine a wedding ceremony there, one wouldn't have to worry about floral decorations!
