Early Summer Garden

Happy Summer!

Summer has finally arrived and the
weather has been lovely here this  past
week. The garden is growing by leaps
and bounds.

   Martha's Garden

The Korean lilacs and the Preston lilacs
                                                                 are coming into bloom now.

The early peonies are also blooming.
Just a few  french lilacs still in bloom.

  Alliums , lupins ,etc.

Just a quick peek at the garden
but more to come for sure.

                                                                                 Have a great day!

                                                                                            Carolyn

  4. Dear Carolyn:
Your lupines standing tall and beautiful are a treat for the eyes only to be matched by those lovely lilacs. Lovely to see!

  5. Carolyn, I always love seeing your garden! I have a question about Korean Lilac(we recently got two Korean Miss Kim plants), we were told they are the most fragrant of lilacs. Since you have more than one variety is that correct? Ours bloomed before we got them, which was disappointing. Our white and pink Peonies just finished their bloom a week or two ago. I love how romantic your garden is with all the roses etc. Thank you for sharing.
    Hugs,
    Noreen

  8. Carolyn, everything looks so incredibly lush and beautiful in your gardens! Those lupines are simply magnificent, even without the spectacular peonies to set off their beauty. Such a lovely time of year -- but I hope not such a busy time for you that you are able to make time to sit and enjoy it for a bit every day. Thanks so much for sharing the beauty with us! -Beth

  12. Oh Carolyn, your garden is such a feast for the eyes. It makes me so happy to see your lovely lilacs. Sadly, mine did not do so well this year. Truly heartbreaking for a gardener like me.

Enjoy your gorgeous garden sweet friend.
