A Winter White Christmas in our Boathouse

       Hello everyone,

Hope you had a lovely weekend. We
enjoyed Christmas concerts that our
grandchildren were in and a sleepover
with a couple of little ones this weekend.
Today, I decided it was time to decorate
our Boathouse for Christmas and this
year it is a winter white theme.

I still have more to do in here
but I will show you my fun for
the day!

This is one of my favorite places
                                                                  to be ....the reading nook.

      The stockings are hung.

The fireplace castsa cozy glow but
alas, no heat. I use an electric header
to take out the chill this time of year.
Curl up and enjoy a cup
                                                                of hot cocoa.
I still have some fluffing to do and I
hope to do the rest of the Boathouse
in white before we get to much snow.

                                                  Our Boathouse last winter.
Although we had some snow a
couple of weeks it has since melted
but a new supply is expected tonight.

Hope you enjoyed our little Boathouse
                                                             in it's winter white attire.

                                                                                  Take care,

                                                                                          Carolyn

  3. My eyes caught the angel on the mantle and the scarf. Such as sweet place. I have a feeling it will be a long winter. Just a feeling. We are expecting more snow in Colorado too! I love it. We joke "oh, we have to close today - it's snowing! Then we say "Oh - we don't have to work, we're retired"!

  4. It looks very pretty and I like the bits of green and red in there too. Yes, I'd need a good heater I think as well. :) We're getting freezing drizzle here this evening. My husband is on his way home from Charlottetown and made it to Fredericton safely. He said the roads aren't too bad but may be worse out our way. :)

  8. I love your sweet little boathouse in ANY season, Carolyn- but this winter white is especially beautiful and bright. (You know my allergy to bright colors, haha.)

You have created a truly perfect spot, and I would do anything to be seeing it in person - fire and tea and friendship, does it get much better than that?

    Lovely, just lovely! ♥♥♥
