Hello everyone,
We are enjoying such beautiful weather
here that I want to be outdoors as much as
possible.
However, I did enjoy spending time with
Miss Lila who loves to dress up and play
tea time.
Lila is our six year old granddaughter.
The beautiful little vintage white dress
was a sweet thrift find.
Tea time.
Reading her mail!
She enjoys trying on my
hats.
Lila is definitely a girly girl.
Lila loves her baby dolls and took
them with her for her sleepover.
So sweet!
Lila, it sure was fun spending time
with you this week.
Next week all our grandchildren
are back to school so another
summer vacation is almost over.
I hope you all have a beautiful weekend!
Carolyn
Lila é tão linda e doce, com o mesmo gosto para o Chá. Com certeza uma semana feliz.
ReplyDeleteFique em paz. Um bom final de semana.

Lila is so sweet in that beautiful white dress. Grandkids are so precious. The hat is beautiful also. Great memories.
ReplyDeleteShe is so sweet, Carolyn! You are blessed to have your granddaughters here on the Island. Maybe someday I will too. Enjoy your weekend.

So very lovely. I adore what she is wearing. I remember tea at my grandmother's house, and being allowed to use her silver tea set. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat precious memories you and Lila are making! Oh, those little white gloves just sent me to the moon! And the baby doll looks SO REAL. Loved it all. susan
ReplyDeleteShe is priceless! Wonderful photos and especially in your hat!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post, Carolyn! It just made me SMILE! Lila is so blessed to have a GLAM MA who can capture her at such a tender age so beautifully in photos. She will adore these when she is much older, too. What a gift you have given her to treasure her entire life. I think I recognize that card?! At least, I have stationery like it. lol And that baby doll! So lucky, too, to discover that sweet little frock. Serendipity! Enjoying labour Day weekend here...Blessings!

How precious!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, Lila is adorable and obviously a good sport to play along with photos at tea time. Six years is a magical age. I taught first graders and absolutely adore that age. Thanks for sharing Lila's tea time!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
What a lovely time you had with your sweet granddaughter! How fortunate you and she both are to enjoy each others' company, in such a beautiful setting that you have created. Thanks so much for sharing it with us! -Beth

Lila is a beautiful young lady and looks adorable in her vintage dress and jewellery. What fun to have her for a sleepover and to share a special tea time together. When I opened your blog it struck me that summer has gone by so fast as in the spring when you had so much snow in PEI and it seemed it would never go away and now summer is about gone. We eagerly awaited to see your spring blooms, then summer ones, and soon it will be fall ones then snow. The season's go by way too fast! The past few weeks certainly have been beautiful though. Here's to a lovely fall season.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!!! I live your picters, so sweet and light! Hugs, Meisje
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh your blog is awesome!! I have a little shop in Sidney BC. It has been in transition to a style I love. Older to old pieces of furniture, with beautiful linens and bone china. Flowers. Beauty. Beautiful papers and fountain pens. Lila is perfect. I love that you have her in little gloves and she has mail. I can see you and I have similar taste!! I am looking for inspiration now. Gobbling up your pictures. What kind of a camera do you use. I would like to take better pictures for my store. And blog, but especially the store.
