We are still enjoying lovely warm sunny weather here.....
perfect weather for an afternoon tea in the garden.
I used a lavender and white bed skirt with
a crochet lace tablecloth over it.
I made a trifle for a special
treat with our tea today.
The china has shades of lavender
as well but once again mix and match.
I love transferware in all colors
but this color is hard to find here.
This trifle was simple to make.....
broken pieces of pound cake
whipped cream,and a mix of
fresh berries layered.
It is a nice treat.
Afternoon tea in the garden is
always a lovely treat.
We have lots of hydrangeas blooming
in the garden now........which reminds
me I need to dry some for the winter.
Shades of lavender.
So, now that you have had tea and trifle,
maybe you would like to relax in the
hammock for awhile?
I am joining Between Naps on the Porch
for Tablescape Thursday.
Hope you have a beautiful day!
Carolyn
Absolutely charming! I love everything about it, especially that cozy hammock nearby.

I had to laugh as I have the same bowl that is pretty much the one I always grab for trifle! Your table setting is lovely!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! I love your purple transferware cup. I have never seen one like that.
