Hello everyone,
It is another beautiful autumn day
here but we are expecting a heavy
downpour and windy for the next
couple of days.
I was looking through my files for
some of my previous fall photos
and picked out some of my favorites.
An autumn tea on the balcony.
Cozy up with a good book
and a tea in a pretty transferware
tea cup.
Relax by the pond.
Enjoy watching the leaves
gently falling to the ground.
Tea on the autumn porch.
A little fall whimsy.
Peeking out to the porch.
Our cozy autumn porch a few years ago.
An autumn lunch on the porch.
Tea in the garden.
Another lunch in the autumn garden.
An lastly relaxing around the pond
with hot spiced apple cider.
. I make spiced apple cider by adding a cinnamon stick, several whole cloves, a few cardamon pods and a few slices of an orange to apple cider..
I bring it to a boil and the simmer for an hour or more. Strain and serve....it is lovely in the fall and makes the house smell so good too!.
I hope you enjoyed a few moments
of relaxation.
Now, I better get out to the garden and
do a few things before the downpour
hits us.
Today, I am joining the tea parties
and Rose Chintz Cottage.
Wishing you a lovely day!
Carolyn

Stunning pictures! I do love the autumn with all those beautiful colours.
That hot spiced apple cider looks delicious... do you have a recipe on your blog? I would love to make some myself. ;-)
They are all stunningly beautiful. I look at them over and over. We had a beautiful few days here in the Gaspé

I just love the colours in your autumn garden. And the chair on your first photo is adorable. Would love to have it here, lol.
Here's exactly the same weather as at your Place. Sunny and nice.
Hope you have a nice day.

Everything look so beautiful!...Christine
Carolyn, your photos are so dreamy! I love several shots here. Your apple cider is much like my own except for the cardamon. Will have to try it with those next time. It does make one's home smell so good too! Thank you for sharing with us and do take care the next few days with all that wind and rain coming.
Blessings,
Sandi
All your photos are magazine-worthy!
Gorgeous photos of your gardens and special spots for tea and lunch in the fall. I love the oranges and golds as they all look warm and cozy. Your header photo is beautiful! The rain has started here already. We're ready for it.
Hi, Carolyn: Really love your Blog. I'm looking forward to more inside, snuggly, tea posts. I can't relate to all the flower pictures and garden views, but I love how well you post pictures of your kitchen and room with firplace to show tea and receipes for tea. Thank you so much for these!
