Hello everyone,
Well, it is officially autumn here now and we
are enjoying these beautiful warm sunny days.
I see a few trees are starting to take on their
autumn hues but it will be a couple of weeks
before the real show begins.
Our garden is showing signs of decline but
if you don't look too close there is still lots
of beauty to enjoy.
There are lots of different hydrangeas in
full bloom and they will continue to bloom
until we get a heavy frost.
There is still lots of color around
the new arbor that my husband built
last year.
The south side of our home.
I love the color of this hydrangea.
Unique hydrangea has taken on it's
autumn hues.
This Jackmani clematis is still
putting on a show while the others
have passed.....this one gets more shade.
Annabelle hydrangea on the left and
white phlox on the right. This year I
enjoyed lots of red geraniums.
As you can see the main show in our
garden is phlox and hydrangeas.
We enjoy ending our garden tour with a strollaround the pond.
Lastly, I picked a bouquet of some of the
different colors of hydrangeas blooming
in the garden now.
Wishing you a happy day!
Carolyn

ReplyDeleteCarolyn, your hydrangeas are gorgeous; so many lovely colours! The shot from the pond is stunning. Happy Autumn and have a beautiful day!

Is this Heaven?!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so gorgeous there in the longer shadows of light across the gardens. I love the coloured hydrangeas in the last photo. Beautiful photos of your gardens. Happy Fall to you.

Absolutely gorgeous views, as always, Carolyn! Thank you for sharing your wonderful creation. It's always a treat to see.
ReplyDeleteOh Carolyn. The lingering days of summer, now autumn, are so bittersweet. Soon the gardens will be white with frost. But in the meantime, we must just take one moment at a time and enjoy the beauty! Susan
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful garden!

Hello Carolyn
ReplyDeleteEverythime I visit your garden (just virtually...) I'am astonished how different the seasons seem to be. Your Hortensias are still flowering while here in middle-europe everything becomes already brown and ugly
Thank you very much for the tour :-)

Still breathtakingly lovely! Your post makes me want to plant hydrangeas, even though the ones I've planted in the past have not done very well. Perhaps I'll try some different kinds.... Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos and gardens! -Beth
ReplyDeleteYour house & garden are so beautiful. I love your hydrangeas. When I pick mine they seem to wilt very quickly, whats your secret to making them last.
