Happy Weekend!
It is a beautiful summer day here
with the promise of a sunny week
ahead.
Our open garden went well and it
was nice to see some of you enjoying
the garden in spite of a short shower.
The next morning I took
a stroll down to the boathouse
to enjoy a few quiet moments.
As, I was reading in my favorite
little nook, I enjoyed the gentle
summer breeze and the warm sunshine
streaming in.
We often enjoy a cup of tea
here for a break.
I love summer and always want to
hang onto it as long as I can.
A cozy wrap.
The teapot and tea cup came
from Winners a few years ago.
A scented geranium in the
conservatory on the boathouse.
Hope you enjoyed some
gentle summer breezes too!
Have a great weekend!
Carolyn

Oh, seriously - does life get much better than a respite in your awesome boat house surrounded by cut garden flowers, sun beams and light breezes, gorgeous china and tea time with a favorite magazine with pretty pictures?
How you manage to get so much done when you are surrounded with such loveliness is beyond my comprehension, Carolyn. Enjoy every morsel of it, my dear. ♥
Wundervoll!

Simply wonderful.
I missed the garden tour. I imagine everything is so beautiful. Your home and gardens are so inspiring and relaxing. I miss your scones and tea.
Oh such pretty images. The window seat in the boat house would be so hard to leave. x
Détente de rêve ... La vaisselle est superbe

Hello Carolyn. Like you, I want to s-t-r-e-t-c-h out summer as long as humanly possible. Gosh. I don't want to hear about Farmers Almanac "horrid winter ahead" predictions. Love all your photos of your lovely spaces. Susan
