This confirms it! I need more lilacs .. and a fence. I have a bunch and many varieties, but the deer keep them trimmed almost like standards. I am hesitant to cut blooms because there are so few. I've never seen a bloom on my Beauty of Moscow and it is my favorite. Interestingly, the deer don't touch the Korean Kim lilacs. These photos are frame worthy .. every one of them!

SO beautiful - and purple transferware? My word how perfectly splendid.

I had a disappointing lilac season. : - (

Glad I can enjoy through you, however! Just beautiful!

I definitely need some lilacs in my garden. I must do some research to see if they will grow here.

Hello Carolyn. I don't think I've ever seen Moscow Lilacs. Very pretty and unusual.
Always a delightful treat to visit your place. LOVE the way you decorate and share.

Carolyn, oh how I envy you your gorgeous lilacs. Here in Southern California they do not grow well, and they have a very short season where we can purchase them thank you for all the beautiful photos, this way I can get my fill through your post. Happy weekend! Xo Lidy

Hi Carolyn, it has been a while since somebody posted here, but i just found that image of yours and i love the transferware in lilac. Can you tell me what brand and maybe collection this is? I am looking for something just like that for our house. Best regards from Switzerland. Marco

Hi Marco,
The name of the transferware is Tintern Alfred Meakin. England. Hope this helps in your search! Carolyn
