Hello everyone,
The sun is shining here today so itis a good time to tour the garden.
The Miss Canada lilac(left) is in
bloom now and the french
lilacs are pretty much passed.
It is lupine season on the
Island now so you will see
them growing wild in the ditches
as you drive along the roads.
Early morning shot. The Korean
lilacs are also in bloom .....they
have such a lovely fragrance.
Tall breaded Irises
Enkianthus ~ Red Bells
The bees love this!
We planted some lupines around the pond
a few years ago so they are establishing nicely.
I will have aprox. 100 peonies in bloom
so I will be taking lots of photos then!
Enjoy your day!
Carolyn
I love seeing your garden in bloom. The garden of eden must look like that.

Um bom dia Carolyn. Seu jardim está maravilhoso. Me recordo muito das estradas cheias de tremoços, quando estivemos na ilha. Inesquecível. Fique em paz.

Have you been gettting bus loads of tours, I hope? Hate they'd be missing this beauty - and 100 peonies? OH MY WORD!!!! Can't wait for those pics, to share in this loveliness.
All your hard work pays off again and again, my friend. Just beautiful! ♥
Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks lovely with the lupins around the pond. I'm looking forward to the 100 !! peonies, that must be amazing.
ReplyDeleteOh, to have that many peonies! No wonder you can cut armloads for vases in the house. I really like the lupins growing around the pond - do they reseed for you? I'm wondering if I should let mine try to reseed, I've had such a tough time growing them so a blogger from NB sent me some of her wild seeds and one germinated.
ReplyDeleteLots of garden tours planned again for this summer Carolyn?
Wishing you a Happy Canada Day celebration.
