Hello everyone,
The lilacs are at there peak in our garden
now so I can go out and pick them by the
bucket full.
Lilacs are very popular here on the
Island and most homes will have at
least on lilac bush.
I love the row of them in this garden
with the white picket fence.
These are some of the lilacs in our
garden but I don't know the names
of some of them ~ I just know I
love them!
This one is Sensation and it is one
of my favorites.
The blooms were plentiful this year.
This is a new white one.
A lilac walk in our garden ~ there
is about a dozen lilac bushes in two
rows.

A bucket full of lilacs.
A few bouquets of lilacs.

Please enjoy a cup of tea before you
leave.
Wishing you a good week.

ReplyDeleteOh Carolyn. I LOVE lilacs. Yours are delightful. Susan
ReplyDeleteIsn't that amazing - you had that deep, deep snow and now the lilacs are incredible. Who would imagine! They are sensational.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular! So nice seeing them again this year! How wonderful to have so many varieties.

I am so envious that you can grow lilacs and here in N FL we cannot. The same with peony's, love their blooms but they will not grow here. At least I can enjoy them through your blog. Amazingly gorgeous.

Your Lilacs are so beautiful. Lilacs are among my favorite flowers. Unfortunately, in my area they don't last too long. Thanks for sharing your Lilacs with me.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous lilacs, Carolyn! I would love to have a white bush. Your photos are lovely! Enjoy your day and the scent of your blooms.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Oh be still my heart Carolyn. Your lilacs are simply gorgeous and a pleasure to look at. You have photographed them beautifully I must say. I already miss my lilacs since they have already bloomed and gone here in Jersey. I also love the sensation. This year we added white lilacs to the garden. I can't wait for them to bloom next spring. Now it is all about the roses in my garden. Stop by for a peek.

Wow, welch ein Duft-Bollwerk muss über deinen Garten schweben! Du hast wunderschöne Sorten! Hier ist der Sommer angekommen. Alle Rosen blühen um die Wette! Habe eine schöne Woche , liebe Carolyn!

Oh these are just breathtaking! We don't have any lilacs where I live in central Oregon... isn't that a shame? Your photos are wonderful and show those tiny little flowers on each big bloom.... I really enjoyed my walk through your garden today! I also love how you showcase them in your pretty vases on the porch and in the rooms. I just want to BE THERE to enjoy them with you!
ReplyDeleteThese lilacs are beautiful ... I love lilacs and I can only admire ...
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Poland :-)
two rows of lilacs sounds like heaven to me Carolyn! I can only imagine how gorgeous it is there right now!
ReplyDeleteYour photos of the lilacs are as beautiful as they are. It is really beautiful there in your gardens and so nice to bring that lovely colour and scent indoors to enjoy.
