On a recent trip to Charleston we
went to Magnolia Garden Plantation
a couple of times ~ it is so beautiful
in spring time.
The first day we went was a Saturday
and they were busy setting up for a
wedding.
I enjoyed watching the progress and was
charmed by all the beautiful details.
I will let you wonder on your own.
Beautiful bouquet in silver vase.
Oh! so pretty.
Lots of beautiful flowers.
Love this silver teapot used as a vase
for this lovely little bouquet.
Notice at the top of the photo that
they even strung lights for this
evening wedding.It must have been
so romantic........too bad I wasn't
on the guest list!
I could have enjoyed sitting here just taking
it all in.
Such a pretty cake too!
Care to linger on the porch?
This peacock was checking it all out too!
More bouquets.
The path is strewn with white rose
petals and lit with lanterns.
It was so beautiful it almost made me want to
get married again.......but don't worry Andrew I
would still pick you!
I am joining Between Naps on the Porch
for Tablescape Thursday.
Have a beautiful day!
Carolyn

Wow! That is certainly a posh and elegant looking wedding/reception. It all looks very lovely. I hope the weather was dry! It would have been interesting to be a guest there for sure.
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a truly gorgeous evening wedding, Carolyn. (I wonder how they kept the mosquitoes at bay.) You got some lovely photos. Susan
ReplyDeleteThanks for getting into every corner and snapping a pic to share with us! Loved seeing the simple elegance of every detail. The beauty of nature combined with lovely chandeliers, gorgeous furniture and lovely décor/centerpieces makes for a fantastic set-up. I would worry so much about the weather though and prob would have had to have some type of tent/canopy which wouldn't have made it so spectacular.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful setting for a romantic wedding. Thank you for sharing it with all of us in Blog land!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteThere was not a mosquito in sight when I was there and just before the wedding the sun popped out.....charmed!
Thanks for visiting,
Carolyn

Beautiful wedding. I love the idea of using the furniture outside too. That couch and chair scenario is pure genius. It says come sit and chat for hours. Love this post!
ReplyDeleteHow neat that you happened to go there when all this was taking place. It is simply beautiful at a place that is already breathtakingly beautiful. They must have been pretty confident about the weather!
