As Christmas Day is almost here it has been
busy with Christmas concerts,family get
togethers and even a couple of birthday
parties so I have been slow posting lately.
However, I am sure you have been busy as well.
So, I have a few Christmas touches in the
kitchen today.
Love my red and white transferware soup tureen and
the vintage bowl as well.
Amaryllis and Christmas just seem to
go together.
A new addition to the kitchen last week
was this little cabinet that holds some of my
transferware dishes.
Little details
My toile santa keeps getting moved around.
A peek through the french doors.
This tree gets a spray of artificial snow every year
to give it the look I love.
We have a scant dusting of snow on the ground right
now but rain is in the forecast for Christmas this year~
so it looks like a green Christmas for us.I might have to
but a few more cans of that artificial snow and cover my windows!
Hope your Christmas preparations are going well!
Carolyn

Love your new little cabinet- what a great find - perfect to "feature" like items, such as your gorgeous red transferware collection!
ReplyDeleteI esp love your toile Santa, how unique and handsome he is!
I have been insanely busy - several birthdays too on top of all else - so haven't had much blogging time, hope to make up reading in the next few days. I posted last night, hope to do lots more.
So glad you have some snow - not looking good for us with a white Christmas this year. : - (
Carolyn, your kitchen is so pretty with the red and white theme. The tree is gorgeous and I love your new cabinet! Yes, we'll be getting a lot of rain here for Christmas too and our pretty snow will melt into a real mess of slush with the very mild temperatures we're to get. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas. Blessings. Pam
