Last week after our last tour from Japan my
husband and I went on a little holiday to
Kennebunkport Maine. We have been there
a few times before and enjoy it in all
seasons but to me it is especially beautiful at
Christmas time..
The first two weekends in December they
have a Christmas Prelude with lots going on
and the whole town is beautifully decorated.
It is aprox. a 10 hour drive from our home.
This little seaside town is so charming.
Lobsters and buoys decorate their huge tree in
Dock Square.
I love all the beautiful New England style homes.
We always enjoy walks around the town.
A Christmas tree farm.
Love all the little shops.
I was so happy to wake up to a nice dusting of
snow the last two days we were there.
Evening walks are my favorite with all the
Christmas lights.
I hope you enjoyed a Christmas by the Sea tour
with me.We toured some lovely Inns while we were
there as well as the White Columns Historic home all
decorated for Christmas....all beautiful!
Oh! and wait til you see the beautiful transferware
dishes I came home with...later!
If you would like to see last December's trip to
Old Quebec click here.
Thank you for visiting me.
