Hello everyone,
It is a beautiful sunny autumn day here and my
tour with my Japanese visitors is over until
tomorrow. So, the house is tidy, the garden
is fine and I have time to relax and enjoy my
own little afternoon tea. Life doesn't get much
better than that!
I am going to relax on the chaise in a sunny
corner of our bedroom.
A bouquet of roses by my side.
A vintage dress on the armoire.
A comfy corner.
The chaise is layered with toiles
and a needlepoint pillow.
Shelley teacup and a new thrift shop teapot.
It is a perfect afternoon to enjoy afternoon tea
and maybe even an hour or so with a book in
the boathouse.Ah! I love these beautiful Autumn
days!
I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage and Bernideen's Tea Time
Time blog for their tea parties today.
Hope you have a lovely day too.
Carolyn

ReplyDeleteI would be so happy to be in your room drinking tea from the lovely tea set. Love the toile quilt and pillows. Shirley N.Z.
ReplyDeleteYou have a cozy spot in your room to sip your tea, Carolyn. Your roses are dreamy indeed and I love the vintage dress which hangs from the armoire; very pretty! You must be very busy this year with your tours as we have had so many cruise ships in. Thank you for joining me for tea and enjoy your day and your guests.
