Hello everyone,
On this beautiful autumn day, I stopped to take a few
shots of some simple things that caught my eye today.
The beautiful plates above were from a quick stop
at the 70 mile yard sale. The small bouquet I picked from
the garden last evening.
Aqua is one of my favorite colors so I
can't leave behind a pretty plate with
aqua touches at a thrift shop it seems.
I also grabbed this antique plate for $1.
I will show the rest of my yardsale treasures soon.
I have a couple of tours from Japan tomorrow so
I better tidy things up a bit around here.
Hope you have a lovely day!
Carolyn

I always love your vintage china...just the things I would have picked up myself...and your deft way of display. Always a joy!

It's a gorgeous day here! Love your new dishes which are so pretty, especially the green and white ones in the first photo. They are quite different, almost like Wedgewood. Enjoy this beautiful fall weather.
Dear Carolyn,
Always a treat to visit your blog!
Your treasures are a wonderful find.
God's richest blessings always,

You know beautiful landscapes must have a color trinity, and green-brown-white is the winner for centuries.
The green in your 1st pic, on the plates, sends me !!
Posting it on pinterest color board, pronto.
Crazy to like a certain odd color so much. XOT
I love those green George Jones plates. You've always got the prettiest china and vignettes you create with them.
Thanks for sharing,
Nancy
Those aqua plates are works of art!
Wishing you a beautiful day,
