Hello everyone,
Summer has finally arrived here and the
garden has changed dramatically in the
past week. I got up early this morning and
some photos of it to share with you later.
Today, it is a little relaxation under the
very fragrant Korean lilac standards that
were a birthday gift several years ago.
Since it is a hot day I am enjoying
lemonade and sugar cookies.
My comfy vintage chaise under the lilacs
is a perfect spot to read for awhile.
The garden bike came from Winner's and
I gave it a coat of pistachio green paint.
The vintage quilt was from Time Worn Treasures
and the April Cornell pillow is a thrift find.
Thank you for visiting and
Happy Canada Day to all my
Canadian friends!
I am joining
Creative Country Mom's Garden
Home Sweet Garden Party today.

It all looks very inviting, Carolyn. I love lilacs and the color lilac, too. Very, very pretty. Susan
ReplyDeleteHappy Canada Day, Carolyn.
ReplyDeleteYou have provided the perfect and beautiful setting to enjoy a cool sip and some nice relaxing reading.
Your lilacs - and other flowers - are so pretty. Gosh it seems forever ago my lilacs were in bloom.
It's been unbearably hot and humid here. Too hot to be outdoors except for early morning and early evening when the sun isn't harsh.
How lovely and cool that looks!
ReplyDeleteWe are having heat and humidity, which is great for tomatoes, but we should be really cool by the weekend, which is not normal for this time of year.
Happy Canada Day to you!
Deanna
So sweet; happy summer!
ReplyDeleteHer şey o kadar güzel ki..Bitkiler, şezlong, parchwork örtü ve diğerleri. Çok zevkli, çok güzeller.
ReplyDeleteOn a envie de venir s'y prélasser ! L'endroit est tellement romantique et douillet !
ReplyDeleteHAPPY CANADA DAY TO YOU AND YOURS! XO

Your garden is beautiful. Like a fairy tale. My lilacs never bloom, nor do my roses. Wonder what I'm doing wrong? Guess I just don't have a green thumb. Have a joyous summer friend!
ReplyDeleteThis cozy little setting is somewhere I could be comfortable with a magazine.
ReplyDeleteHappy Canada Day!
I think this is the quilt you had on that beautiful sun porch posting and how lovely it looks here amongst your wonderful lilacs!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn:
ReplyDeleteI have tried repeatedly to order your tea book but with no success. When I click on that picture it says something like "can not be found". Also, when I go to your page at Magcloud it doesn't show it. ???
Your photographs are so relaxing, you never miss your good taste !
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, to come and visit you is always such a joy !
Sending much love <3
