Happy Weekend!
Hope you are enjoying a beautiful weekend.
We have been busy with tours and garden
chores but I did take a few shots in the garden
this week to share with you.
Beautiful French Lilacs in a locally made
handcrafted basket with a French Hen.
I have been adding a few french touches
in Martha's Garden lately but more on
that later.
Sensation Alliums
Lilac bouquets and a vintage quilt.
Some of the different varieties of lilacs
we grow in our garden.
The lupins and early peonies are staring
to bloom now along with the Viburnum
Snowball bush.
Primrose lilac
Flowering Crab Apple tree
adds to the window view.
A beautiful bouquet just for you!
I am going to the Flower Pressing Exhibition
at the Stratford Town Hall this afternoon.....
maybe I will see you there!
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn
I love lilacs! And yours are stunning!
ReplyDeleteFunny, your lilacs are blooming now, while ours here in SW Idaho have been done for over a month. They actually bloomed a bit earlier this year than usual.
While I am a warm weather gal and can often struggle with no longer living in a tropical kind of climate, one huge gift of living further north is lilacs. We didn't have them in Florida because it was too hot.
Anyhow, blessings to you,
Patti
Here in northern Italy a hot summer has already arrived for lots of days and to watch your wonderful spring shots really gives to me e breath of freshness and relief !
ReplyDeleteThank you for the beauty and good taste you always share with us, my dear Carolyn, happy weekend to you too xox

So so beautiful! I love seeing your gardens in the spring and summer....well anytime really. It's hard to believe how fast everything grows after our long and snowy winters. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers in the basket and white pitcher. I love coming to your blog. Always so relaxing seeing your posts.
ReplyDeleteYour displays of Lilacs are just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, Carolyn! The purple color is just stunning. I love purple flowers in the garden and love seeing your lilacs and allium, along with the other shades of purple and blue in the background.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Carolyn; you just have the happiest blog!
ReplyDeleteSo many pretty lilacs in your gardens. My few bring me pleasure with their perfumed scent so I can only imagine having lots to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThird year with the Beauty of Moscow I purchased mail order and still no blooms. Needless to say I'm disappointed, of course the rabbits pruning some of it over winter didn't help.
Dear Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI am tour leader of Japanese group visited your garden on
10th Jun.
Now, I found your blog page from Google, because our guide
told us that you have a nice blog page.
If you like, could I tell my customer this blog page ?
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Lauriane
