Hello everyone,
I know I mentioned that we had a painter
in for over a week making some changes
in our woodwork and walls in a few rooms.
So our bedroom was just painted revere pewter
and the ceiling and trim cloud white all
Benjamin Moore paints.
I painted the tall dresser in the corner
Yarmouth blue and put a dark Annie
Sloan wax on it. It was a creamy
white before.
I made the curtains around the bed last year and
the crochet lace toppers are window valences.
Love the roses on this tea set.
Some beautiful roses for Mother's Day.
The bedroom and the hallway at the top of the stairs.
If you would like to see last years look check it out
here or here.. Although,I liked the look before, I felt it
needed just a little more color and the trim especially
needed to be freshen up as it had been several
years since it was done.
I am still tweaking our family room so
when that id done I will share it with you.
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn

The wood floor shines so bright! I love every corner of your bedroom Carolyn. It feels like I’m going some time to take a look at your photos. I love the accessories, most especially the lamp and the mirror that beautifies the whole room. Your ideas are magnificent!

What an amazing and romantic bedroom:) Just STUNNING!!!
ReplyDeleteBest regards:)
It's a nice looking color and doesn't look too dark, Carolyn. How are you liking it compared to the white you had before? We are going to have to paint our master {it is just a plain old beige right now} and I am torn between a creamy white, a darker beige, or trying one of the greys. I will just have to get some samples and put them on the wall at some point, but I feel like I am so far apart on colors right now.
ReplyDeleteDe jolis rêves doivent être fait dans cette magnifique chambre ... J'aime beaucoup aussi le service avec les roses, splendide ...
ReplyDeleteA bientôt
