Today,I was working on an outdoor photo shoot as it was still mild but
when I came in I enjoyed a nice cup of hot tea.
We just got home from the rink where our little seven year old grandsonwas playing hockey. It is amazing to see these little ones play ~ I think
they could already skate circles around me and I know for sure they
bounce back up faster then I would! All that cheering in a cold rink
though means it is time for another cup of hot tea. I wonder if there
is any of that cake left?

My boys both played hockey when they were young and it was such a thrill to watch them on the ice. I hope to someday have grandsons that play too! They look so tiny and are too cute those wee boys when skating!

ReplyDeleteI am always amazed at the little ones and how they can skate. My son in Vancouver sends me videos of his five year old and he's amazing on skates too! They're so cute. Keep warm and let's hope that storm tomorrow doesn't amount to too much! Hubby still has to go to work in it.

ReplyDeleteI do have to comment on the bakery cake - that is gorgeous, what is it? Is it flavored? I can't tell by the pic, is it just a coloured angel food? It's the perfect eye candy, wonder if it is as tasty as it looks?
I laughed about your comment about the little ones and skating. I felt the same way when I used to ski Jay Peak in Vermont....the little French speaking Canadian children would wizz right past me - they were naturals and I was def not in my element. Last time I checked Ohio didn't have any mountains lol. I enjoyed myself much more in the lodge, haha.
So pretty! And tea is perfect after an afternoon at the rink!
