Cozy Winter White Tea

                                                                    ~ Welcome~
With the cold days of winter still upon us I am enjoying having tea
by the kitchen bay window that overlooks our snow covered garden.
I have the table set for two so come and join me.
Pecan butterballs......again!

                                                            cranberry orange scones
                                                        I love these beautiful roses.

Some whipped cream for your scones with jam.

From the reports I am hearing, I think much of North America has
been getting some real wintry weather lately so what could be nicer
then enjoying afternoon tea while admiring the beauty of winter
                                through the window.

On another note someone wrote to ask me where they might find this vintage teapot
but it has no markings on it and I bought it a local antique shop and have no info on
it. Do any of you have any idea on where to find another one online?

  7. Thank you Carolyn for linking to Friends Sharing Tea. My guess is that is a little personal Chocolate Pot (short spout) and doesn't it look Bavarian? Your table is lovely and that view is breathtaking. Your baked goods are always impressive!

  15. Carolyn, your white tea is lovely and I like your tiered stand. That chocolate pot is adorable! I'm going to have to bake scones one of these days for I'm been craving them lately. Stay cozy!

  16. Hello Carolyn,
I so enjoyed having tea with you and looking out of the kitchen window, even at all that snow. It has been plenty in the last little while and I have found many birds are not able to get to their food as easily as before. Lovely place setting for tea and your orange and cranberry scones look delectable, and the cream scrumptious. Thanks for having tea

I would love to share tea and scones with you. Looks like a Cornish cream tea.
    Keep warm,

  18. I'd loooove to, Carolyn! But you are a bit far away! .... or I am (in Denmark Scandinavia). However your pictures, which are as beautiful as ever, inspire me. Therefore, next week when winter will finally arrive here with snow and cold, I shall invite my neighbours for a White Tea in front of the big window of my nursery and the table set with white porcelaine and a white tablecloth embroidered by my grandmother.
Je vous remercie pour l'annè 2013 et vous souhaite une Bonne et Joyeuse Annè 2014

  21. Pretty wonderful setup you've got there. The only thing that's going to invigorate it is new utensils, fresh ingredients, or maybe tea one hasn't tried yet. Every kind of tea leads to their own arrangements, so enjoy tea time this 2014. Stay healthy!
