Christmas Baking & Tea

                                                               Hello everyone,
I seem to be late this year with getting things done so I am just getting
                   some Christmas baking done now.
Of course, I made my traditional  gingerbread cookies that I have been making
every Christmas since my children were babies and the pecan butterballs have
Been a favorite the past several years as well.

I think it is time for a tea break.
A cup for you and one for me!
I also made these Apple Cranberry Crumble Muffins.

                                                           Pecan Butter Balls

These muffins from the Robin Hood cookbook are delicious.
Cookies on my Vista plate by Mason.

I will leave you with one of my favorite Christmas
songs
 sung by Becky Kelley .

Enjoy!

Today I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday.

I plan to do one more post before Christmas and then I am taking
a little break.

Carolyn

All your baking looks so good and there's nothing like baking in one's kitchen to warm the hearts of our family. Thank you, my friend, for sharing with us at Tea Time this past year and have a Blessed Christmas season with your loved ones.

  5. Hi Carolyn!
Just quickly popping in to wish you all a Merry Christmas! I guess it's probably no surprise to you to know that I have a similar teapot and the same design Mason's Pink Vista platter. Mine was given to me my a lovely lady who was closing her ladies' clothing store about 10 years ago. She told me the platter was over a century old back then. She had used it as part of the decor hanging on the wall and thought that I would appreciate it. And, she was right! It is a treasure. The teapot is a reproduction that I bought in the antique shop at Victoria By The Sea when I was there! I later found the cream and sugar to match in NS! Lol Always on 'the hunt'...I know you can relate to that! Haha
Thank you for the song. It is really beautiful.
I hope everyone is at home on the Island safe and snug. Stay safe and warm this Christmas season. Blessings to you all. XOXOXOXO
    Love,

  8. Your Vista plate has a pretty design with the handles and the cookies on it are tempting. I've made gingerbread cookies too for years with a dozen to hang on the tree. The muffins look tasty and I imagine are wonderful with a cup of tea.
I enjoyed listening to the Christmas song which has a good message.
    Merry Christmas.
