Hello everyone,
How are you? It has turned cold and rather wintry here ~ we have a
little dusting of snow on the ground now. I am hoping we soon get
more, just enough to give us in the Christmas spirit.
I have a few delicate touches of Christmas to share with you.
I love this pretty plate but it is not a color I find here often.
The angel wings are so cute with the silver acorn both from
Timeworn Treasures and Antiques and by the way there is a
Christmas open house there today from 2 -8 p.m.
I love my red and white transferware all year but especially at Christmas.
So,just a few delicate touches of Christmas for you today.
In local news my Country Christmas books are now for sale at
Time Worn Treasures and Antiques
and
Showcase Gift Shop at the Confederation Gift Shop
and now
Emmett & Ellie's
I am also excited that a new shop in Calgary plans to carry them also!
Tomorrow at 5 pm I will draw for the giveaway of my book Country Christmas
and will announce the lucky winner soon after. ~ good luck! It is not to late to
sign up if you would like too.
Today I am joining Feathered Nest Friday at French Country Cottage and
My Romantic Home for Show & Tell Friday.
Enjoy your day!
Carolyn
Beautiful! Slávka
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your soft and pretty Christmas vignettes. I'd be interested in knowing the name and address of the shop in Calgary. Our daughter lives there now and It would be fun to visit the shop on one of our trips. Could you please email me the info? Thanks so much. Enjoy the snow on the ground there. It must be pretty looking.
ReplyDeleteDear Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteoh yes, it is so wonderful looking forward to the christmas time!
Thanks for your pretty vignettes! Especially I love the feathern angel wings!
The blue color of your plate you can find actually by Burleigh: "Blue Asiatic Pheasant", "Burgess Chintz" and "Blue Felicity" have approximately the same tint.
Sunny Greetings, Siret
I love the little silver acorn nestled against the silver wings...so soft and pretty Christmas vignettes! Love the pretty china and teapot...everything looks so romantic and from a time gone by....thanks for the inspiration! Happy Holidays! Hugs, Poppy

What a lovely post today. Thank you for the vignettes. You've inspired me to finish my decorating now! We have lots of snow now here in Alberta and they've just issued a heavy snowfall warning, so another wave is on it's way! Thankful we get to stay home and be cosy.
ReplyDeleteHello Carolyn! I like Your touches of Christmas, but I don't feel holiday time yet in my home :) I have to work for this ;)

Hello Carolyn, What an elegant place your have here, just lovely. I believe I saw your home on the cottage of the month blog, and marked one of the pages to duplicate the roof-line on your charming house addition. My Grandfather came from Prince Edward Island; what a wonderful place to dwell. Please add me to your drawing, I would love to have this book. It is a coincidence, I too am having a drawing for one of my books this week, but it is a different kind of book.
ReplyDeleteYour images are so soft, and lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat to visit here.
Debbie

ReplyDeleteThe Christmas vignettes are charming too.
So excited about your new book. I'd love to win one. I've very much enjoyed the last one!
