Beautiful Nova Scotia

Hello everyone,
I hope you all had a great weekend. We had a busy one as we finished up our tours for the season
and had our family up for our Thanksgiving turkey dinner- a bit late here in Canada but some of us
could not make it last weekend.

I have a few more photos of our little trip to Nova Scotia to share with you. We stopped in                     for lunch and a walk around this beautiful seaside town.
I love this porch as it has an amazing view of the water
Then we moved on to Mahone Bay another charming seaside town that had a scarecrow festival the week before but still had lots of scarecrows up.
Well dressed ladies watching the people go by.I love the house
                                in the background.
                                                               A pretty autumn scene.
                                                       A welcoming autumn porch.

The famous three churches of Mahone Bay

                                                                    Sunset

We stayed in the beautiful Mahone Bay Bed and Breakfast.

It was beautiful inside and out. The hosts were very friendly also
and I hope to get back someday. Mahone Bay has a Father Christmas
celebration coming up in late November that should be fun too,if you
would like to check it out.
                                              Isn't this the prettiest porch?
This was our charming room ~ I do so love red and white toile.

They have a beautiful porch to sit on overlooking the water.

After enjoying Mahone Bay we went up to Wolfville and went here to the Blomidon Inn where we had a delicious lunch and a tour around their lovely gardens.

Thank you for coming along!

Carolyn

Incredible colors! I love the yellow house with the oranges from the tree. My great grandfather was from Nova Scotia, but I have not visited there as yet. Seeing your beautiful photos will do for now.

Your photos are utterly delightful. Loved them.

That yellow floral couch calls my name, for sure.

I must add Nova Scotia to my first trip to PEI. What a lovely place! Thank you for sharing.

Did they decorate the red toile bedroom just for you? What a celebrity you must be! You're certainly special to me!

Love,
Kay Moser

Thank you for showing these beautiful photos of Nova Scotia. I grew up in Arkansas, about a 10-12 hour drive from my current state of Indiana here in the US. I had a friend whose grandmother came from Nova Scotia to retire and live with them. She called her nanny and "nanny" has a beautiful Canadian accent. It was quite different from my Southern drawl! Oh my what a beautiful place Nova Scotia is. Thank you!

Such a beautiful part of the world! The porch is really nice: the woodwork is something I had never seen before.

Your pictures of Mahone Bay are lovely. We visited Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, and Chester in the spring, and they all look like towns where you could make a heritage movie.
We visited the historic gardens at Annapolis Royal two weeks ago. An amazing place with 17 acres of gardens. I want to go back in spring.
