Romantic Country

                                                                 Hello everyone,

Hope your week is going well We are getting ready for another tour from Japan                              this weekend and it is going to be another very hot day tomorrow so I want to                                 get everything shipshape today when it is cooler.
The beautiful vintage lace dress above was a recent gift from a very                                                generous friend who knew right away that i would love it!
It is a creamy lace but it has a hint of blush pink in it too.
                                                  The back has lace ties.
So romantic-perfect for a Downton Abbey Tea!
I took these pics a few weeks ago when the beautybush was in bloom.
A soft romantic rose from our garden

Now for some exciting news.... I am thrilled to be featured in the new Romantic                             Country magazine that is out on the shelves now.
These are my photos most of them were taken here  last fall.
It is quite an honour for me to see my photos featured in this popular magazine.
If you would like to see this Autumn post  check it out here
.
The tickets for our Downton Abbey garden tea on Saturday August 3rd are almost gone - I am very pleased with the response we have had and  I think it will be a lot of fun!

Hope you all have a great weekend and thank you for visiting,

Carolyn

Going to pour some iced tea and read up - grats, Carolyn, so very well deserved.

  9. What a gorgeous dress, Carolyn! Will you be wearing that at your tea? The roses look lovely. I finally got my own rosebush here now at the new place. I found a pink Knockout at Kmart on clearance and picked it up and planted it yesterday. Congrats on the Romantic Homes feature! I saw that! : )
