Garden Blooms

                                                                Hello everyone,
I am just popping in to show you some of what is blooming in our garden now.
The lilac above is called Sensation,I like how it is edged in white.

We have many different varieties of lilacs and this one has varigated foliage.
Beauty of Moscow is one of my favorites.
I am not sure which one this is but I like the pink color.

A plum tree peony is in bloom now.
A row of lilacs perfumes the garden!

The lupins are also in bloom now-not quite at their peak yet though.

Lots of alliums in bloom -they self seed so they are working their way around the garden.
So just a quick peak at some of our garden blooms.

I am joining The Rose Garden in Malevik for Show Off Saturday.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
        Carolyn

Hi Carolyn

Just beautiful. Sigh. I spent the day gardening and there is nothing more relaxing and rewarding when you see all the work turned to something so beautiful.

Olá Carolyn,

Como é linda a primavera na Ilha. Me encanta muito. As flores lilás são demais. Eu não conhecia e fiquei feliz quanto vi pessoalmente.

Fico ansiosa esperando suas novas fotos do jardim, mas estou sentindo falta das lindas porcelanas em um chá no jardim .

Um abraço.

Lauriane

I always enjoy a visit to your garden. I love the pink lilacs too. They are just beautiful. I just spent the week pruning shrubs all around the house. I don't know how you keep up with it all. Every bone in my body hurts and my hands are sore from pulling weed. Gardening isn't for weaklings is it. lol

Hi Maam Caroly,

I really love reading your post specially with flowers as I am so bad in naming flowers.

I have 2 different kinds of lilacs and I guess, the smaller tree is what you mention the Moscow? I will take some photos when our weather give me the opportunity. It is raining again and it's not funny anymore when we are expecting a great summer.

TY for sharing your knowledge.

Greetings from D´Box,

Wow....I just saw your book about two weeks ago, and am in awe. The photography is brilliant, but then look at the subjects.......
I love flowers, photography, and I paint.
Would love to come for a garden tour and bring my camera, if that is allowed.
Now, this morning I see your article in The Guardian, I think you are a celeb for us Islanders.
Carolyn, I have tried to get your book and not sure where it is on sale.
I have never blogged, but you and your wonderful gardens have me hooked.
I live in Stanley Bridge, so am not far from your place.
Have a wonderful day in the garden, Carolyn.

Nan Cairns
Have me hooked.

Love all the beautiful flowers. Lilacs are one of my favorites. I don't think I can grown them here where I live. I don't think the weather is right but when I can I will buy them because they are so pretty.
