Hello everyone,
It finally warmed up a little here today and there are more signs of spring each day. We still have ice on our pond however, and last year at this time it had all melted and we had ducks swimming around in it.I am enjoying the honking of the Canada geese as they fly overhead ,returning from their more southern winter home.
Anyway, I am joining Pink Saturday today so I have some peachy pinks to share ..
I had a little visit at Time worn Treasures and antiques today and as usual came home with some pretty treasures. This beautiful covered butter dish is from Germany.
I picked up a fresh bouquet of peachy pink roses so of course I had to take a few quick shots.
I got some pretty linens there today also.
I seem to have a pretty good stash of pink linens- quilts, chenille etc.
This pretty vase was also an earlier find from the same shop.
These delicate teacups are made in Austria and the saucers co ordinate nicely with them but are not the same..
Hope you all have a Happy Weekend!
I am joining How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday,

Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn

Hey - first, your link didn't work - gave me an error - but I clicked on your header and found your post right away -thought you might want to know.
ReplyDeleteOh! I love your peachy pinks - the butter dish is beautiful as are those roses - great great photos. I'm turning into a teacup girl. Oh my! Love your teacup and not-matching-looks-great saucer!
Beautiful post. Thoroughly enjoyed the pearls, teacups and peachy pinks, especially the butter dish!

I love peachy pink and you've given a nice display of it. Lover the little covered butter dish! Hope you're having a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteMorning Carolyn, I think we must be having similar weather, We had a frost first thing but we have a lovely sunny morning here. At 11.30am it is 8.1c and hopefully will get warmer. The flowers and the treasures you bought are delightful.
ReplyDeleteJackie in Surrey UK.
So beautiful. You found some really lovely treasures. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty pink post! :) The ponds near us are still frozen too and they were thawed last year. It's a bitter cold wind blowing today although the sun is shining. I saw the first robins here on Thursday but none since. Enjoy the weekend. Pam
ReplyDeleteLove your peachy finds, Carolyn! I especially love that first teacup. Your peachy roses are really sweet too.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been into Lori's shop since before Christmas and I'm itching to get there. Hopefully one of these days I will feel up to it.
Do you think springtime will ever arrive? Brrr, it's cold out there! Have a nice weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
