Hello everyone,
I hope you enjoyed a lovely Easter -we did as well. Today we welcome in the month of April already with all it's promise. We all know the saying April showers bring May flowers and so today true to form, showers are in the forecast for us . After a long winter (one that seems to want to hang on) I am longing for color in the garden...you too I am sure!
Can't wait!!!
Rosy pinks and plums
Love our iris!
Lupins,iris and hardy geranium.
I look forward to lilac season every year.
I am noticing more bird songs in our garden- a very welcome sound!
What about you are you longing for color too?
Soon all the colors of spring and summer will be bursting upon us! In the mean time there is lots to do to get ready to enjoy it all.
Have a good day and thank you for all your kind words and good wishes.
Carolyn
so many glorious colors!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI had a friend who used to say Autumn was god's paintbrush- but it's hard to compete with Spring blooms-
Thanks so much for sharing!
The same as the colors of spring, children laughing in joy. Very nice pictures, such as the joy of spring.
ReplyDeleteThanks and love thick...
There are a few snowflakes blowing around today, so it will be awhile before the colour comes. I'm taking it as a sign that I still have time to clear our the basement before the start of outdoor tasks begin!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are breathtaking, Carolyn.

O yes, I'm longing for colour. There are little bits of colour visable already but the overall colour is still brown. Longing for more green and blue and pink and purple and.... sigh.
ReplyDeleteHappy new month with hopefully more colour than the month march gave us.
Marian
Dear Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteso many thanks for your dreamful sunny Easter-Flower-Bouquet!
A wonderful Easter monday and all best wishes - Siret
Beautiful pictures, Carolyn, and thank you for sharing them. I can not wait until we get some color here. Right now I'm getting by looking at the lovely pink and yellow tulips I have on our table. I've started walking again {even though its still a bit windy and chilly} and I can't wait to start seeing some of the gardens I pass in bloom.
ReplyDeleteE' tutto così bello... E gli iris sono paradisiaci!
ReplyDeleteComplimenti, le tue foto sono sempre ottimo cibo per gli occhi!

ReplyDeleteLoved seeing the gorgeous flowers. Ahhhhhhh, spring! You cannot be far away, can you? Even though it SNOWED today! Yes, snow on April 1st.
ReplyDeleteBut your lovely flowers made me want to dream of spring again. Thank you. Susan
Love the color! I just returned to TN from a trip further south where I toured plantations, looking for the perfect one to use as the setting for my next novel. Gorgeous azaleas and camellias blooming down there--but not here yet.

ReplyDeleteWhen I see all the gorgeous colours in your photos today then glance out the window at the brown and white scene I am amazed at how God has created such beauty for us to enjoy in the spring when the blooming starts. It's very chilly here today but the weekend was gorgeous!
