Hello everyone,
I hope your week is going well. The weeks seem to be slipping by pretty fast-it is hard to believe that winter is officially over already. One of the projects that we were working on this past week was our small upstair guest bath.
So the wainscotting got a fresh coat of white paint as well as the floors.
The upper part of the walls were grey before and the curtain was a grey toile(sorry, I don't have a photo of the before) so this deep aqua color Behr Marina Isle is a nice change.
This pretty bucket from Time Worn Treasures and Antiques looks pretty holding some guest towels. The old cast iron tub got a fresh coat of paint on the outside as well.I love these comfortable old bathtubs.
Some of the little details.
I am happy with the new look of our little vintage guest bath. It is great to be getting some of these projects done because we will soon(hopefully) be able to get out and work in the garden again.

Carolyn, know what I really feel the time has come for you to write a book! Seriously a book about accessorizing your home in vintage and romantic style. Your book would be incredible, s is your decorating skills. I fins it amazing how you can take a small table or shelf and create such incredible charm, or simply drape a few towels and we all admire the look!!Please consider this I know so very many would cherish each page both those in the U.S and Canada and abroad as well! Lori

Just lovely Carolyn! You chose such a pretty colour scheme.
ReplyDeleteHave you been working in the garden yet? It's still icy cold in Holland :-(
Have a lovely weekend,

Beautiful bathroom, love the colour! I saw your picture on the front cover of Romantic Country. Congratulations. I have not read through the whole issue yet but I know more of your beautiful photos are inside. I found the Sadler teapot I have been wanting to replace. Thank you so much for your help. I couldn't have found it if you hadn't provided the makers name, as I had been looking for a while now. A friend is coming by tomorrow for tea and I plan on using it then. Spring is cold and slow to arrive here, but I am starting to clean up the beds, my hellebores and primroses are blooming beautifully. Patty/BC
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely lovely, Carolyn! I am so drawn to that color - I have an old claw foot tub I am restoring and I've chosen very similar colors - the walls will be different colors, but I can't wait to get it in! I will be Pinning this as an encouragement! I hope you have a blessed week,
ReplyDeleteKathy
